グルテンフリー Gluten free


グルテンのアレルギーの方が
いらっしゃいます。

このパンは小麦粉を入れずに
ライスフラワー,タピオカフラワー
コーンスターチ,ポテトスターチフラワー
他の材料で作りました。

チョコレートチップクッキーも
グルテンフリーです。

これらをプレゼントとしてラッピングしました。


Some people have an allergy to gluten.

This bread is made with
White Rice Flour,Tapioca Flour
Corn Starch,Potato Starch Flour
and other ingredients
but without Wheat Flour.

These chocolate chip cookies
are also gluten free.

I wapped them up as presents.

寒すぎです!

マガモが 話かけているように見えます。

“ 暖かくていい日でしょ。”
“ まだ水の中で泳げるし。”

It's too cold !

Mallard seems to be talking.

“ It's a nice and warm day.”
“ We can still swim in the water.”

クリスマスの使者 A messenger of Xmas


11月になると
クリスマスカクタスの
小さな蕾みが膨らみ始めます。

その頃が
冬着やクリスマスのデコレーションを出す時期。

お花が咲くとクリスマスがすぐそこ。

Small buds start to appear
in November on the Xmas cactus.

Time to take out winter clothes
and Xmas decorations.

When the flowers bloom Xmas is near.

ハイブッシュクランベリー High bush cranberry


白とグレイの冬景色に
これらの果実が元気な色を加えていました。

自然は、こんな明るい色で
私たちを幸せにな気持ちにさせてくれるのね〜。

These berries gave lively color to
a gray and white winter scene.

Nature has a way of making us
happy with this bright color.

自分にごほうび A reward for me


8月1日にこのブログをスタートして
もう4ヶ月になろうとしています。
大変ですが(初心者なので)、楽しんでやっています。

時には自分自身にも何かごほうびを
あげることも必要な気がします。

今日がその日。古いボタンとリボンを付けて
ホームメイドのオーガニックコットンケーキを
自分にプレゼントすることにします。

I started this blog on the 1st of August.
It's been 4 months already
and it's a labor of love.
Sometimes we need to treat
ourselves to something nice.

Today is the day that I will give
myself a homemade organic cotton cake
with used buttons and ribbons.

森は心地よく
ひんやりとしていました。

鳥たちに食べものを持っていくと
一羽の小鳥は
もう明日を見つめているかの様でした。

きっと、明日も良い日になるよ〜。

It was nice and cold in the forest .

When I brought food to the birds,
A bird seemed to be
already looking towards tomorrow .

I'm sure that you will be ok tomorrow too .

フォーチュンクッキー Fortune cookie


ほとんどのチャイニーズレストランで
食後にフォーチュンクッキーを出してくれます。

割って開けてみると、中に小さな紙が入っていて
それには “今が絶好の時期” と書いてありました。

紙にどんな事が書いてあっても、未来はあなたのものだから、
いつ何をしたいかは自分で決めたらいいよね。

Most Chinese restaurants serve a fortune cookie
to customers after a meal.

When I cracked mine open,there was a slip of paper inside.
It said “It's now or never !”

The future is yours,you can decide
waht you want and when you want it.No matter what the paper says.

11月のトナカイ A raindeer in November


お散歩の途中、何となく誰かに
見られているような気がしました。

立ち止まって振り返ると.....ホホホッ

パッケージから出されたばかりの
トナカイがいました。

恥ずかしがっている少女のように。

このトナカイのお陰で幸せな一日になりました。

While I was out walking,
I felt someone was watching me,

I stopped and looked back....Ho ho ho

There was a raindeer,
Just taken out of her package,

Looking like a shy girl.

She made my day.

すべての木の葉が

落ちていて

森でこの植物だけが

断固と輝いていました。

All leaves have fallen

from the trees,

this plant was determined

to brighten up the woods.

耳を傾けているように見えます。

ひょっとすると私の心の声が
聞こえているのかもしれません。

心配しないで 
ここでランチをとってもいいのよ。

It seems like the squirrel is listening.

Perhaps he hears my inner voice.

Saying you are safe to have lunch here.

時間 Time


11月最初の日曜日に
時計を1時間遅らせて
標準時に戻している国があります。

昼間の光の量は変えることは出来ないけれど....... 
自分で時間はやりくり出来るはず〜。

The clocks are put backward
1 hour to standard time
the fist Sunday of Novenber
in some countries.

You can't change the amount of daylight .......  
You can manage your time .

ギブ アンド テイク Give and take


バルコニーで
鉢植えの白い花は
春から秋まで
私たちに
喜びを与えてくれました。

今夜は雪になるかもしれません。

花たちが大事にされる番。
あたたかい室内に入れてあげよう。

The potted white flowers gave us
joy on the balcony
from spring to fall.

It may snow tonight.

It's their turn to be taken care of.
Let's bring them inside where it's warm.

ひとつずつ One by one


彼らは小枝と葉っぱを集めて
枝と枝の間に巣を作ります。

もし何かを成し遂げたいなら、
ひとつずつ取りかかったらいいね〜。



They collecttwigs and leaves
to build their nest between two branches.

If you want to get something done ,
you should start one by one .


Ps. “ Do you know whose nest this is ? The answer is the squirrel's. だれの巣かわかりますか? 答えは、リス。”

たんぽぽ Dandelion


気をつけてね!

息をすると最後のたんぽぽの種が
一気に飛んでいなくなってしまうから。

冬の風に運んでもらおう。
じっとしていてね ! 
来春どこに芽をだすか、風が決めるから。

Careful !

Your breath
could blow away
the last dandelion's seeds.

Let the winter winds carry the seeds.
Be patient !  
The winds decide where they will grow next spring .

かぼちゃ Pumpkins


しばらくかぼちゃたちは
夏野菜の後ろで
出番が来るのを
待っていました。

そのマーケットは
もうすぐ店を閉じ
そして、雪が溶けてから
再び花と共に開店します。

The pumpkins were waiting
for a while behind
the summer crops
for their season to arrive.

The market will close soon
and reopen with flowers
after the melting snows.

かたつむりは
午後の日差しに当たって
きらきらと光っていました。

足音を聞いて
動きを止めたのかな〜? 
まるで時間が止まっているみたい。

The snails
shimmered
in the afternoon sun.

Did they stop
at the sound of footsteps ?
It seems as if time stopped .

映しだされていました。

A morning dew
on the flower
sparkled
like a precious stone.

The clear sky
was reflected on it.

きのこ Mushroom


小さな緑色の葉っぱが
きのこに陰を
つくってあげていました。

まるできのこと葉っぱは
一緒にいる時間を
大切にしているように見えます。

A small green leaf
shaded the mushrooms
from the sun.

They seem to cherish
their time together.

しいんとしています。

数個のどんぐりが落ちてくる音が。

りすが上の方から落していました。

そのあと森はまた静まり返りました。




It's so quiet.

The sound of a few acorns fall

Dropped by the squirrels high above.

Then quietness once again.

スケッチブックに描いたのが最初です。
ベリーはいつも顔全体で笑っています。
それが、あなたにも笑顔をもたらし
しあわせがやってくると信じています。
ことわざが言っているように

“笑う門には福来る”

BELLY was first born on a sketch book
on the 2nd of October 2005.
He is always smiling from ear to ear
and it makes you smile too.
Just like the proverb says

“Fortune comes in by a merry gate”

ちっちゃな花のかげから
そっと姿を現しました。

ちょう!

クローバーは私たちに笑顔をもたらします。

四つ葉を見つけたとき
ハチミツを味わうとき
少女がその花からティアラを作るとき
小さな訪問者を温かく迎えているとき

From behind the tiny flower
Appeared quietly.

A butterfly !

Clover brings a smile to our faces.

when we find the four-leaves
when we taste its honey
when girls make tiaras from its flowers
when we watch as it greets small visitors

子供たちは
球場で野球をしていました。

飛行機は
空に真っすぐな先を描いていました。

たくさんの物語がありそうです。

Kids were playing baseball
in the field.

A plane was drawing
a straight line in the sky.

There must be a lot of stories
behide the picture.

りんご狩り Apple picking


ここはりんご園。

はしごをりんごの木に立てかける人も
低い枝にのぼる人も
ただりんごに飛びつく人も

みな笑顔で楽しんでいました。

Here in the apple orchard.

Some people leaned ladders on the apple trees
Some climbed the lower branches
Others just jumped up at the apples

Everybody was smilling and having fun.

近づいてよく見て。

それは花の一部ではありません。

傷ついた蛾!

それでも優雅に

ひらひらと飛び去りました。


Take a closer look.

It is not a part of the flower.

An injured moth !

Yet, it flittered away with grace.

お花は彼の好物ではなかったようです。
あっという間に去ってしまいました。

そして午後は穏やかに流れていきました。

A hummingbird !
The flower was not his favorite.
The hummingbird was gone in a flash.

And then the afternoon rolled on serenely.

時期を待っています。

かぼちゃたちも、
お行儀のよい子供たちのように見えるね〜。

誰かがノックをしているような
音がしました。
外を見てみると.....
かぼそく優美な姿が。

きつつきでした。

ノックの音が続いていました。
根気づよく。


It sounded like someone knocking.
Looking out.....
There was a delicate figure.

It was a woodpecker.

The knocking continued.
Making a persistent effort.

そこまで上るのに
徒歩で約3時間。

そこには、すばらしい眺めが
展開していました。


It took about 3hours
to get up there by foot.

And
a splendid view unfolded.

アライグマの赤ちゃん A baby raccoon


危険な道路に、まだ目が見えない
そして、はうことも出来ない
アライグマの赤ちゃんがいました。
間一髪で助けられました。
すやすやと眠っています。

まだ赤ちゃんかもしれないけど、
本当の優しさは、ずっと忘れないと思う。

A baby raccoon couldn't see,
couldn't crawl and in danger
on the road.
Help came just in time.
The baby slumberes soundly.

Though he is still a baby,
True kindness can never be forgotten.

ほんのわずかな時間でした。

遠くにふわふわと浮かぶ丸〜い雲。

何故か無邪気に
微笑んでしまいました。


It was there for a mere short time.


The round fluffy cloud rushes off
in a fareway sky.

Somehow,I smile innocently.

巣立ち Leaving the nest


今日で三日め。

巣立ったはずの小鳥が
巣のそばで鳴き叫んでいます。

そこへ突然、その小鳥を跳ね飛ばすように
親鳥がやってきました。

漸くその小鳥は、ひろ〜い空に向かって
飛び立ちました。 “飛べる〜!”

Today is DAY 3

Time for the baby bird to leave the nest.
The baby one chirped loudly in protest.

Suddenly the mother flew to him.
And the baby bird took to the open sky.

“ I can fly~ ! ”

Melody of the birds

Hear the leaves dancing in the breeze
