春色 Colors of Spring

今か今かと蕾みが
開くのを待っていたんです。


外は吹雪

お部屋の中は
お花といっしょに
春が来た。



I was impatient
for the buds to open.


Outside there is a snowstorm.

Inside spring has arrived
with these blooms.

平穏 Calm

何気ない冬の田園風景
我が家から車で約３時間

大気は清々しく

気温はきりっと寒く

雪は異常に真っ白


A regular countryside winter scene.
It took about 3 hours by car from our place.

The air is fresh

The temperature is crisp

The snow is so white

一条の光 Stream of light

アイキャンディ Eye candy

あらっ、愛らしいものが出現！


クラブアップルが氷の中で

かたまっていました。

本物のキャンディのように

可愛くみえていました。




There, appeared eye candy ！


A crabapple frozen in ice.

It was looking

as cute as a real candy.

スノーエンジェル A Snow Angel

雪が窓に付着して

素敵なアートを

創り出していました。


たぶん エンジェルが

優しい魔法をかけたのでしょう。




The snow stuck

on the window and

created wonderful art.


An Angel may have used

sweet magic.

リスがガラス越しに
ベリーを見ていました。

リス ：今日はお家にいるの？
ベリー：うん　たぶんね。どうして？
リス ：外は雪が降っているよ。
ベリー：知ってるよ。
だっておでこに雪がのっているのが
見えるもん。


The squirrel watched Belly
through the glass window.


Squirrel : Will you be staying at home today ?
Belly : Yes, I probably wiil be. Why ?
Squirrel : It is snowing out today.
Belly : I know. After all,
I can see a little snow on your forehead.

何もかもが

クリスタルのよう。

深呼吸をすると...

何だか心の中が

浄化された感じでした。




Everything looked

like Crystal.

Somehow,

I felt spiritualized.

喜びの小さな種 Little seeds of Joy

先日、日本食材のお店で
柿ピーを見付けて
とても幸せな気持ちになりました。

以前にこの辺でも見かけたことは
ありましたが、ピーナッツ抜きの
柿の種のみでした。

種が成長してお花を咲かせてくれるように
私の心の中に、柿ピーが小さな喜びを
もたらせてくれました。



The other day I saw kaki seeds with peanuts
at the Japanese food store, I was so happy.

I had seen them before in our area
without peanuts.

They put a little joy in my heart that
seems to grow and flower.


Ps. Kaki seeds with peanuts are
a typical Japanese snack.

スノープリント Snow prints

今朝 森では、誰よりも

ノウサギが早起きをしていました。


足跡が元気よくぴょんぴょんと

大きく跳んで行ったことを

教えてくれました。





A hare got up earlier than

everyone in the forest this morning.


The footprints showed that

the hare hopped along with

vigorous strides.
