川の上のキャンドル Candle on the river

夕陽がキャンドルライトのように

川の水面に揺らいでいました

今晩 キャンドルに火を灯そうかしら

環境に優しく そして心も温かくなるから


The evening sun played on

the surface of the river like candlelight.

Maybe I will light a candle tonight.

It's environmentally friendly

and also warms the heart.

早めの初雪 An early first snowfall

雪が降っているのに気づきました

初雪の時はいつでも嬉しいものです

長い冬はこれからなのに　笑）

I noticed that it was snowing.

I'm happy whenever we get the first snowfall.

The long winter is yet to come ; )

ほんの小さな事ですが... Although it is only a small thing...

夏にラディッシュの種を蒔きました

半分は育ちましたが残りの半分は
全然形になりませんでした

今 それらのラディッシュが
小さな繊細なお花を咲かせています

私にとって思いがけないギフトになっています

This summer,I planted some radish seeds .

Half of the radishes grew
but the other half did not form at all.

Now, those radishes are in bloom
with small delicate flowers.

It is a unexpected gift for me .

何か聞こえますか? Can you hear something?

カモメは カナダギースがまもなく暖かいところへ

旅立つのを知って くうで優美に舞を披露していました

ひっそりとした野原で彼らには特別なメロディーが

聞こえているのかも知れません



The seagulls were dancing gracefully in the sky

knowing that the canadian geese would soon

be leaving for a warmer place.

They may hear the special melody in the quiet field.

家出 ? A runaway ?

通常てんとう虫は集団で冬眠します


ひょっとして このてんとう虫は

仲間から離れて一人の時間が必要だったのかしら


今晩は -1℃ 冷えるから

早くお家に帰ったほうがいいんじゃない



Usually ladybugs hibernate in groups.


Maybe this ladybug needed some time alone

away from the other ladybugs.


It's going to be cold tonight , -1℃ .

Ladybug, you should get back home soon.

季節的な楽しみ A seasonal treat

木々たちはすでに衣替えをしています

今朝の気温３℃

私も温かい服に着替えて

どんな色を身につけているのか

見に出かけてきました


The trees have already changed their clothes.

This morning the temprature was 3 degrees.

I also changed into warmer clothes

before I went out to see what colors they were wearing.

可笑しいと思われるかも... It may sound funny, but...

私が幼い頃 どんぐりはベレー帽を被っていて

馬は靴を履いていると信じていました

でも誰にもこのことを話さなくてよかったです

このどんぐりは この話を聞いて

笑い涙を流していたのもかも知れません

When I was a little child believed that

acorns wore berets and horses wore shoes.

I'm glad that I have never told this to anybody.

The acorns might have shed tears of laughter

as they listened to this story.

びっくりするじゃない〜! You surprise me !

どうしてこの馬だけが

こんなに近づいて来るの？

ふ〜ン！

おでこの♡ハートを見せたかったのね


How come only this horse

is coming so close ?

Hmmm !

You must have wanted to show me

the ♡ heart on your forehead.

どうして二枚の葉だけが ?... How come just 2 leaves ?...

最近遠くの景色ばかり見ていました

すると小さな不思議な四葉が

足元近くを見るように誘ってくれました

二枚の葉は虫が落書きをしたようです

可愛い落書きに子供の頃を思い出しました。

I had only been looking at scenery far away recently.

And then 4 small mysterious leaves

beckoned me to look near my feet.

It seems to be a bug's doodle.

Cute doodle reminded me of my childhood.

日曜の朝 Sunday morning

気温 14℃

霧雨のなか

去年と同じ時期に同じ場所を訪れました

ひんやりとした空気がとても爽やかでした


The temperature,14℃

In the misty rain,

I visited the same place at the same time as last year.

The cool atmosphere was very refreshing.
