実際にあった癒しのお話

赤ちゃんカバ　オーウェンは、2004年アフリカの
サバキリバーで津波によってママを失いました。
そしてケニアワールドライフサービスによって
助けられハーラーパークに運ばれました。
そこで彼はママに似た色のカメを見つけました。
そのカメはオーウェンが必要としたときに
そばにいました。
ちょうどオーウェンのママのように。




The true story of healing.

Owen the baby hippo lost his mama
in the Sabaki River in Africa
by the tsunami of 2004.
Owen was rescued by the Kenya Wildlife Service
and brought to Haller Park.
There he saw the tortoise whose color
looked like his mama's.
The tortoise stayed close when Owen needed him.
Just like his mama.

神さまからの贈り物？ God's gift ?

我が家から約５時間。

木々も猛吹雪でほとんど見えません。

その後まもなく道路は閉鎖されました。

この天候に腹を立てたとしても
何も変わらないから.....




About 5 hours away from home.

The trees were barely visible
because of the blizzard.

Shortly after the road was closed.

We can't do anything about the weather.

ゆっくり Go slowly

いつもハイウェイを
走行しているように
生活をしていると

多くの事を
見逃してしまうから

たまにはゆっくり

少しだけ速度を落として




If we always live
as though we drive
on the highway

we miss out
on many things

Go slowly at times

Slow down a little

そっと... Discreetly...

足跡が我が家に続いていました。

帰っていった跡も...


あの例のリスが

私の留守の間に

覗きに来たようです。




The foot prints continued to my place.

And returned...


The same squirrel

must have looked through

the window during my absence.

よい香りは

微笑みを運んでくれます。

このお茶は

グリーンティーフラワーといい

目をも楽しませてくれます。




A fragrance that

brings a smile to your face.

This tea is called

the green tea flower.

It's entertainment

for the eyes as well.

ほのポカなお話 ‘ムクドリ編 ’ ‘The Starling’ a Hono poka story外は暗く-20度 Outside it was -20℃ and dark.

心の声が窓の外を見るように...黒い物が雪の中に
ベリー : 怪我をしているみたい 凍っている 大丈夫？
ムクドリ： ・ ・ ・
ベリー : タオルを巻いてあげるから箱の中にいてね。
− 数時間後 −
ベリー : 大丈夫？
ムクドリ : 少し歩けるかも　あ とべる〜！
ベリー：そこは止まり木じゃないよ。ランプだよ。
ムクドリ：あったか〜い　今晩泊まってもいい？
ベリー：いいよ。
ムクドリは次の朝元気に飛び去りました。

My inner voice said look out the window.
Someting black was in the snow.
BELLY：You look injured and frozen.Are you ok ?
Starling： ・ ・ ・
BELLY：I wiil wrap a towel around you and you can stay in the box.
- A couple of houres later -
BELLY：Are you ok ?
Starling：I may walk a little bit. Oh,I can fly !
BELLY：It's not a perch. It's a lamp.
Starling：It's warm. Can I stay here tonight ?
BELLY：Of course.
The bird recovered and flew away the next morning.

真冬に In the middle of winter

自然がシャンパンの泉のようなものを

創造したのかもしれません。

私たちの目の保養になるように。





Nature may have created what looks like
