フォーチュンクッキー Fortune cookie

ほとんどのチャイニーズレストランで
食後にフォーチュンクッキーを出してくれます。

割って開けてみると、中に小さな紙が入っていて
それには　“今が絶好の時期”　と書いてありました。

紙にどんな事が書いてあっても、未来はあなたのものだから、
いつ何をしたいかは自分で決めたらいいよね。

Most Chinese restaurants serve a fortune cookie
to customers after a meal.

When I cracked mine open,there was a slip of paper inside.
It said “It's now or never !”

The future is yours,you can decide
waht you want and when you want it.No matter what the paper says.

11月のトナカイ A raindeer in November

お散歩の途中、何となく誰かに
見られているような気がしました。

立ち止まって振り返ると.....ホホホッ

パッケージから出されたばかりの
トナカイがいました。

恥ずかしがっている少女のように。

このトナカイのお陰で幸せな一日になりました。

While I was out walking,
I felt someone was watching me,

I stopped and looked back....Ho ho ho

There was a raindeer,
Just taken out of her package,

Looking like a shy girl.

She made my day.

森で In the woods

すべての木の葉が

落ちていて

森でこの植物だけが

断固と輝いていました。

All leaves have fallen

from the trees,

this plant was determined

to brighten up the woods.

ひだまり Sunny spot

耳を傾けているように見えます。

ひょっとすると私の心の声が
聞こえているのかもしれません。

心配しないで　
ここでランチをとってもいいのよ。

It seems like the squirrel is listening.

Perhaps he hears my inner voice.

Saying you are safe to have lunch here.

時間 Time

11月最初の日曜日に
時計を1時間遅らせて
標準時に戻している国があります。

昼間の光の量は変えることは出来ないけれど.......　
自分で時間はやりくり出来るはず〜。

The clocks are put backward
1 hour to standard time
the fist Sunday of Novenber
in some countries.

You can't change the amount of daylight ....... 　
You can manage your time .
