大地に背を伸ばして
立っているように。


それは、目のさめるような
美しさでした。


The flower was commanding.

It was impressive standing

straight out of the ground.

誰かがノックをしているような
音がしました。
外を見てみると.....
かぼそく優美な姿が。

きつつきでした。

ノックの音が続いていました。
根気づよく。


It sounded like someone knocking.
Looking out.....
There was a delicate figure.

It was a woodpecker.

The knocking continued.
Making a persistent effort.

あたりをぐるりと見る。
そして、もう一度。

心地よい風にゆっくりと揺れている。

なんと美しい色なのでしょう！

Swinging slowly in the breeze.

What lovely colors !

満足感 A satisfying feeling

そこまで上るのに
徒歩で約３時間。

そこには、すばらしい眺めが
展開していました。


It took about 3hours
to get up there by foot.

And
a splendid view unfolded.

アライグマの赤ちゃん A baby raccoon

危険な道路に、まだ目が見えない
そして、はうことも出来ない
アライグマの赤ちゃんがいました。
間一髪で助けられました。
すやすやと眠っています。

まだ赤ちゃんかもしれないけど、
本当の優しさは、ずっと忘れないと思う。

A baby raccoon couldn't see,
couldn't crawl and in danger
on the road.
Help came just in time.
The baby slumberes soundly.

Though he is still a baby,
True kindness can never be forgotten.
